By accessing or using the Refreshing Mental Health website located at www.refreshing-mental-health.com and our online appointment booking platform (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.

IMPORTANT: Our website and online booking platform are for appointment scheduling purposes only. They are NOT for providing medical advice, emergency services, or clinical care.

Do not use this website or any online form to seek emergency assistance. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. If you are experiencing a suicidal crisis, call or text 988.

Scheduling an appointment through this platform does not establish a patient-provider relationship until you have been evaluated and accepted as a patient by Refreshing Mental Health.

Appointment requests: Submitting an appointment request through our online platform does not guarantee an appointment. All appointments are subject to provider availability, insurance verification (where applicable), and clinical appropriateness.

Cancellation policy: Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled through your confirmation email link or by calling us. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Late cancellations may be subject to fees.

Self-pay payments: Self-pay appointment fees are charged at the time of booking through Stripe. Refunds for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will be processed within 5–10 business days.

Insurance: Acceptance of your insurance is subject to verification. We accept most major insurance plans, but coverage and benefits vary. You are responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance, including copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.

To confirm appointments, we use Stripe Identity for document verification. By using our booking platform, you consent to the identity verification process. We do not store images of identity documents — only verification status, verified name, and date of birth (as reported by Stripe). See our Privacy Policy for more information.

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures
• Engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair our Services
• Submit spam, automated requests, or other abusive communications
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Refreshing Mental Health or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on our website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Refreshing Mental Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 30 days.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Bernardino County, California.
